TTT February reveal

I got to work with a great kit this month that was packed FULL of embellishments and lots of yummy My Minds Eye papers, the Fine&Dandy line. I also loved that we got 2 of 3 different colors of cardstock, which was perfect for my double page layouts!

Honestly, it seems like I just made this post for 2009! I do not know where this last year went! But it came and went with many "firsts" - new baby, new home, kindergarten, san diego, etc. In any case, here we go, my top ten!

Long lost layout - love of my {scrapbook} life

Way back at the end of 2009, I applied for a DT spot that I didn't get. This layout was one of my entries. At the time I didn't want to post it on my blog in case it needed to be a new and original layout for the call. In any case, here it is. I put a lot time into this one, it is probably my most prized layout of all time (yes, I love it that much). Partly because of the effort I put into, partly because of the color scheme - kraft, red, navy, and teal, and partly because the photo is so cute and matches perfectly. I'm in love!!

Added pearls to the coordinating rub-ons. Stitched the premade tag and along the diecut paper.

Swiped the corrugated letters with acrylic paint.

Tied some jute around arrow. Heavily distressed and inked the patterned paper.

Swiped the rhinestone swirl with white paint. Added distress stickles to the letters on the tag.
