LOL = lots of layouts

I just love the bold and bright colors of the new Paper Trunk Socialite Papers. Here are two layouts that I made with them.

Here's one I did awhile ago and just forgot to scan it in! Love this picture of Miss Sydney!

This is my current Autumn Leaves challenge - to create a tone-on-tone background. I used Versamark ink and stamped onto the kraft cardstock.

Just a fun layout I did with my mom & Abby. This was actually a lift from Carrie who lifted another gal she designs with :)

I experimented with my new Blingz, sponging it onto the chipboard and flowers.

Some layouts using my new Pink Paisley papers ( I really love their new releases).

And this one is from a GotSketch 101 sketch, I love their 2-page layouts but it took me a good 3-4 hours to complete!

{SAS}sy March reveals!

This month at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking, I had the pleasure of working with Chatterbox's new line from CHA, Fabulous. It is yellow and brown mixed with teal and a splash of green. Sound fabulous? It is! My favorite part was the stitched felt and glossy chipboard accents, which made embellishing a breeze. I also got to try some new KI sheers, Pink Paisley pixie stix and Prima and Sassafrass Lass flowers. Here are my layouts:

Portland retreat

My sister and I went to a scrappin' retreat (www.scrappingetaway.com) the first weekend of February in Portland. It was so much fun and just relaxing to be able to do...nothing! But actually we did quite a bit of shopping (Lloyd center was right next door and CKC was right down the street at the convention center) and got some good layouts done too. Here are a few of them. I also did quite a few of my DT layouts while I was there, but I'll include those in my reveal post tomorrow!

This is with the new BG Marakech (it was my favorite thing from CHA):

Fun Month and {SAS}sy challenges

I was able to scrap the last couple days and got some challenges done, both for the regular challenges that I host at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking, and also to complete some challenges for Fun Month over {SAS}!

Here is my latest example for the Croppy Cat challenge, I lifted a lovely layout from Pat, a member at the {SAS} message board.

This is a technique challenge hosted by Terri at {SAS}, I used 3 techniques on my layout: layering of at least 3 papers, inking, and tearing.

My latest Autumn Leaves challenge is to make chipboard a handle for hidden journaling. Here is my example: If you pull on the arrow, out comes the tag where my journaling has been tucked into a pocket in my page:

I came up with another challenge for Fun Month after looking at these crazy pictures I had of Jamie. The challenge is make a page inspired by an ad slogan. The writing under the picture says: "Gillette - the best a man can get". Jamie likes to pretend to put on his dad's deodorant, so he can be just like him! I had these cute wings in my Fancy Pants die-cuts so I decided to make the title: smell angelic.

crop layouts

My friend Bridget and I went to a crop last weekend and I finished these pages (plus one more that I'm saving for my DT reveals). As you can see, I didn't get much done, but I wasn't feeling well at the time and was in a total daze from my cold medicine!

This one was a sketch from GotSketch Express. I also completed a Fun Month challenge at {SAS} to use 3 different alphas on your page:

I wasn't too crazy about how this turned out, I wished I hadn't used brown for the background. Owell, I did complete another Fun Month challenge to make a summer layout.

This was Fun Month sketch challenge. I used some brand new MME papers, so cute!
